SSCCP – Activity

SSCCP, the Italian Pulp and Paper Research Institute, is a public commercial organisation. Its activity is focused to give technical and analytical support to the Paper Industry. The Institute is located in Milano, Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 16.

The SSCCP laboratories can satisfy the analytical needs of the entire pulp and paper value chain, including converters and users: analytical services, technical assistance, certification, applied research, consultancy.

We offer in detail:

• Technical assistance and consultancy to industries and public administrations.
• Quality product evaluation service.
• Scientific and technical support to the paper industrial sector innovation: raw materials, energy, environment.
• Documentation, dissemination and promoting activities.
• Training activities.
• Link among the european pulp and paper research Institutes and the National Industry.
• Applied research: to introduce italian SME’s in national and european research projects.

SSCCP obtained the Accreditation n° 0206 by SINAL (www.sinal.it), the Italian Accreditation Body, in December 1998 for chemical, mechanical and microbiological tests on paper, boards, hygiene and sanitary products and products to be used in contact with foodstuffs, according to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025.
SINAL accreditation is a guarantee to users of SSCCP services for the technical competence and impartiality of the Laboratory performing the accredited tests.
